| Northside was again increased in area and the facilities were much improved for staff and members.By the late 1990s, membership increased dramatically and the accommodation at Gracefield Road was under severe pressure (by 2000 membership reached 20,000).
The credit union was in dire need of larger premises and a more convenient location. After many setbacks, long cherished plans to acquire the former Artane Roundabout site of the Bank of Ireland came to fruition in 1998. Building of the landmark new head office of Coolock Artane Credit Union commenced in October 1999 and it was ready for business in February 2001. With this move and the improved, as well as new, services now being offered or planned, the Credit Union could confidently bring its members into the next century. |
